I have a secluded plot of land
Just wandering if there would be much interest. Not much much in facilaties but does have a river frontage for fishing.

I have a small woodland plot I use privately for this. It is relatively easy to seclude a composting toilet on a lot of sites but proximity to the river could be an issue with that. Having one saves having your site becoming a minefield of ad-hoc latrine holes.
If you want to be able save carting water on and off site there are some pretty good water purification systems about that take out viruses, cysts and bacteria. Most will also have a charcoal layer to remove the unwanted chemicals. The stream water processed through my Lifesaver 10000UF tastes so much nicer than the tap water down here.
My final thought is that you should be aware that strictly speaking on most sites your normally be limited to allowing 28 days camping unless you apply for a licence. I suspect generally as long as your not going crazy on this if your a bit over nobody will notice and/or care but if you have the wrong person locally they could decide to stick their oar in and report you to your council. I gather from freinds that have been going through the process that getting a camping licence and planning permission for a small commercial site was a whole lot of hassle. |

Viable for the occasional fun or a real business? It does sound nice, a few people next to a secluded river. Could also be sexy if everybody agrees. |
