We have spent a few years just having fun in our carpeted transit but must admit it's not exactly comfortable.

Think it's time we progress to a camper and thinking of a VW t5.

That's the sort of size but any recommendations of other Van's we should consider?

Just go all out snd buy a caravan. You’ll never look back. We love ours.

Have to say let’s okey at loads t5 and f6 last 18 months at the moment price is through the roof. Decided to go with caravan option and happy with the choice. Island bed easier in and out. Once on site I still have car and don’t have to pack everything up if I want to go anywhere.

Before spending a lot of money on a t5, write a list of when you use it and what you’ll use it for and compare with a caravan. Also don’t forget towing laws are going to change soon so all will have b+E without having to take another test.

Having lost my beautiful brave girl to cancer in 2018 I tried to carry on holidaying in our twin axle caravan but didn't enjoy. So much hassle loading, towing and setting up that I decided to sell it and get a VW T6.

Best decision I ever made, sling a few bits and pieces in it and phook off The world is my Lobster

No height or width restrictions, park almost anywhere and little setting up.

If you want comfort you'll be wanting something bigger than a T5!

We bought a 1991 VW Lt 35, looks like a brick and drives like one too but we absolutely love it. Took miles longer to turn into a camper than we thought it would but made it to suit just us two, permanent bed layout gives plenty of storage underneath all kitted out as per any other van .... glamping not cramping, go big enjoy the space to move about

Just got an old Previa. All rear seats go flat to create bed. Going to get driveaway awning tent to attach to it.
