Off to these places next week.. A night or so in each. Looking forward to wild camping in calgary Bay.. Anyone been recently?

Mind out for midges in galloway forest. Teeming with them 3 weeks ago nr glentrool. Carradale bay is lush on kintyre

Leeds

I'm near Port William which isn't far. Weather has been a bit iffy but pleasant none the less.Camped not far from Glen trool and the midges were like a cloud of teeth. The walk around the Loch is worth doin if you can make it.

Was at Carradale bay a few wéeks ago. It was gorgeous with great weather. You've got to be careful of the narrow roads if you're down that way though
