It would maybe help if you were to differentiate between the north east of England, and the north east of Britain!!
Miles apart, and very often problematic when being talked about, in the national news for example. |

Think the OP location gives a clue about being in the North East as does ours. How would that confuse people. We have never had to say we live in the North East England. Suppose this will be easier when we have a hard border and Scotland is a Foreign country  |

"Well by your arguement, Scotland has been annexed already, because the last time I looked at a map of Great Britain, the north east was Aberdeenshire! 
We love the Scots and Scotland. If we had a vote we'd vote not for Scotland to leave. It's called GREAT Britain for a reason. The 4 nations are brilliant together. Shame Nicola Sturgeon is like a dog with a bone   "
