Anyone else use britstops?

Convenient, overnight pub stops with xxx benefits.

Only have to book ahead and use the pub for food or drink to be able to stop overnight on their carparks.

Great way to arrange meets with other peeps xx

With the current amount of groups on social media where everyone cant wait to give you recommendations and even the owners and landlords of pubs advertising their premises for overnight (or even longer stays) we see no point in paying £20 for a booklet for information that is readily available elsewhere

Very true. However, its only £30 and it's just handy to have in the bus.

£30 now really? We once had a look at them at a trade stand at one of the outdoor leisure shows a few years ago I thought at the time all your paying for is a book and information which is widely available free elsewhere.

£28 with postage.

Again we agree with you. But for us when planning any trip in an area we're not familiar with, we like to have a starting point, as opposed to ringing random pubs that we've zero information on.

Everyone has a choice and we're happy using various methods. X

Worth every penny in our eyes , £30 is only usually a 1 or 2 night stop on a site , we use it when traveling in between pre booked campsites for the odd nite free stop apart from the price of a few drinks or something to eat .We also use the Spanish equivalent which takes you to some great vineyards , farms etc for free stops also xxx

Happy travelling
