No camping in tents?

Must I come in a van to stay over?

...and well done + good luck with being open during Covid.

Bit cold for a tent at the moment Brett besides you can lock a caravan door can't lock a tent doorfind some weirdo standing at the end of your campbed wanking over your sleeping bag.

No thanks

"is there hard standing? what sort of size is ok?"
The camping area is in a wood and whilst there is no hard standing the ground is pretty solid. We went during a dry hot spell but I see no reason that the it would get boggy during rain

i do lol ive seen people struggle to get out in wet, used to have a smaller van but big one couldnt shunt around in woods, and some low branches, gives it a nice feel but a large camper would struggle, which was why i was asking

They certainly have had tents there in the past not sure if that was a special occasion though, stayed in the chalets however many times.

Why not give them a call when they reopen, if they can accommodate tents going forward I feel sure they will do their best.

Dartford

Just to add that though postcode may possibly still lead you to the gates of the old Fawkham Manor private hospital the hospital closed and last time I passed the site it was fenced off.

So no risk of taking your clothes off in the wrong spot and finding yourself in an examination room

Don't forget guy's you can only get basic membership online. You cannot get in at the door.

It takes upto 10 days.

You can become a gold member on the door but it's about £400
