Hope it went well. I’ve got to get my windscreen out at some point to get a bit of welding around the window. It’s a pain but got to be done |

She just needs lots of welding and then some more welding and a bit of welding, new brake calipers all round, new drive shafts, fuel lines, brake lines hand brake cable and a smidge more welding
We've decide she can just sit on the driveway until march and have a long hard think about what shes done
On the plus side I get to play with the welder again it not seen the light of day for about 2 years. Mr H |

"Weve just had a new alternator, petrol tank, fuel lines and filter ,stainless steel coolant pipes gearbox refurb, gear linkages renewed, now ready to put that bed to good use!"
We did the gear linkages at the end of summer and did the "short shift" mod while we were at it, the gear change on her is awesome now for a 96 bus, would recommend the mod to anyone where it's possible. Mr H |

Yea the short shift mod is an act of genius!
My t4 is the 1.9td and I have turned up the turbo and diesel pump to give her a little extra poke!
Makes a massive difference on the big hill on the express way out of North wales |

I want your engine! Ours should be 1.9td but some cockwomble swapped it out for a straight 1.9d, I bet you can guess how popular we are on the hills but on the plus side it'll live forever since the turbo cant ever shit its guts into the engine

I've got front and rear arches that need welding, well new arches and 2 front wings. Its had so much in the last 3 months the arches could wait hah. My T4 has had much bigger injectors, I made a new engine loom and dash loom for her, remapped while I was at it, new intercooler and preloaded the turbo a little bit more. She is now a beast, all be it one that needs new arches all round but I can't weld outside in the pissing down rain haha. |

"There should be a VW Transporter giveaway signal like pampas grass in the garden or a carrier bag tied to the trolley kind of thing.
What could we all use? Lol "
There is already a thread about this, the consensus seems to be a chameleon, pampas grass, a swing or three rubber ducks.
Mr H. |

"Wish we'd cracked on over the winter with our t4, she's now a summer project. No camper fun for us this year.
Mr H."
I’m in the same boat. Would have been much further along but MOT in January set me back a fair bit, now playing catch up |
