We were hoping to get out on the bike now the weather appears to be picking up but looks like we're going to have to put things on hold for now. Once we get back to normality we'd love to hear from people riding out |

We were hoping to get out when we tax the bikes at the end of the month but virus has stopped that so no taxing bikes for now. Anyway they are forecasting snow on Sunday  |

Tax and insurance both due in April, no point in forking out for them until we get the all clear so sadly I'll be sorning mine, let's hope it won't be too long before we can all resume doing the things we enjoy |

It won't be long till J&S open again next to the Metro Centre. They have some great gear at great prices. Ask for discount, they always give a little and sometimes through experience a lot of discount |

I have a Joe Rocket airflow jacket XL, silver in colour for sale, ideal for summer days or even better for a trip to Europe. Was thinking of selling it on ebay but as you say not ideal buying a jacket on line so not put it up for sale yet for that very reason. Don't know if it would sell. |

We were all ready to go out weekend gone in the amazing weather but Mrs F's battery failed so waiting on a new battery. This weekend looks hit and miss with weather but at least we'll have the new battery fitted and ready to go |

Jacket sorted, now she just needs a helmet. Apparently bike shops can reopen from the weekend so we'll be off shopping |

Yes, sorry for the late reply, I am thinking of a ride out Sunday, gonna take my flask and sarnies in a daysack, maybe Durham area, don't like to do cafes, got my mask and safety gear for the social distance thing, lucky as my partner makes them for a living

Got a good couple of hundred miles in yesterday, Teesdale, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors.
Stopped at Ribblehead viaduct for lunch and it was teaming with people |

Found this part of the forum the day after I have sold my bike, she may have been a little Yammy 125 but ahe got me from A to B without fail.
Based west of Newcastle.
Hopefully will have a new bike within the next couple of years and then i can be a proper swinging biker |

Not much time left before that dreaded salt gets thrown about. We put our bikes away for the winter when that happens. Hopefully we'll get out couple of more times before that. Unfortunately with virus numbers rising we not looking to meet socially at the moment. Less contact with others will help get us all back on track. Let's just hope for a miracle and all the crazies try harder now they've put restrictions back on us all. Happy riding everyone what we have left of the season |

Bike's gone to a new home so the search starts this weekend for a replacement. Wanting a tourer that's comfy for the Mrs on the back, been looking at a BMW R1200RT, anyone got any advice on problems or what to look for or alternative bikes to consider? |

The RT is a good shout for two up touring, I had Triumph Trophy for a couple of years which I thought was great but as you say they don’t make them anymore. There’s a few second hand ones around and they are usually very well looked after so worth a look. To be honest either would be good so its really what you like the look of. Good luck ! |
