I did my cbt on one, I liked it but it could do with being just a bit quicker. I know it's a 125, but 50 flat out seems a little low! And 2nd hand the prices were still too high, so I got a Honda cb125f between cbt and full licence.
If a van van came up at a good price I'd have one for messing around in the fields and forest roads, and for when my son turns 17 in a year or so! |

Is it an air cooled engine?
If it’s looked after correctly it should give you trouble free biking.
The air cooled engines are lower on power however the durability and simplicity of the engine make for a very reliable machine.
If I can ever find one I want a Honda MT125.
I had one years ago as a commuter to work.
It went out in all conditions. Apart from surface rust it was bomb proof.

There's a guy on YouTube with one. He's travelling around on one. Forever meeting and being overtaken by destination focussed BMW GS riders, on a schedule. He is comparison, wanders along at a slow but steady pace. Giving him plenty of time to look around and experience stuff.
I recon he's got the balance right. I'm jealous as hell. |
