"It’s give snow next Thursday on XCWeather app
Great! That’ll be fun going up and down the M6 and over the Pennines "
I wouldn’t worry too much Jim till it happens, the forecasts have been so changeable it’s been difficult to plan much this summer, they where right about this rain tho, hasn’t stopped all day here lol |

You’re right there JuCee, it was like powerboat racing on the M6 last night, I was like a drowned rat by the time I got to Preston and by the time I got back to Stoke again I could have kept goldfish in my boots, lots of rather large ponds on the roads too, horrible! |

I did, thankfully!
No time to dry the gear off, was only there for a couple of hours so the trip back was cold and wet |

It was a bit hairy last night to be honest, had a moment or 2 with some flood water (I really need to upgrade the candles on my bike). Don’t think I need to go out on her again till Thursday now though |

North Lakes and Manchester |
North Lakes both ride.
Mrs preferably when it’s dry although she’s been wet on many occasions (maybe that’s a different thread though)
Mr 365
- 2 days bad weather (too much snow or ice)
- 20 days holiday (non biking hols)
- 1 xmas day (tied to the kitchen)
-1 Boxing Day ( on the piss)
- 8 hangover days (can’t ride)
- 20 wet weekends (can’t be arsed)
- 1 birthday (getting pampered)
= 292 days riding ..... Christ I’m a part timer |

Morning all
Just stumbled across this forum and thought I'd say hi. I'm Alan and I'm currently finishing off my Dakar special. So I'm hoping to get it out and on the road in the next week or so. If you wanna meet for a social ride out let me know. I'd be happy to meet any sex or persuasion
Hope to speak to someone soon! |

"Think bimble at weekend is needed
Where's a good place to take pics in the open"
Try Holingworth Lake, some nice quiet places away from the main road, park up at the wine press or the car park just beyond it where the visitors centre is. Walk out the back of the car park along the dirt road. |
