The Bike You Should Never Have Sold

Jump to: Newest in thread

Or ... the bike you looked at, didn't buy, but should have!

If I hadn't had to, I would never have sold my BMW 650. And I should have bought the NSU Quickly that an older lady in the village was selling for £5 back in 1979.

I never should have sold my 250mz. It was so simple and reliable and it didn't matter if it was grotty weather....

Should never have sold any of the two strokes that I owned, RD125LC RG250 and 350 YPVS all now going for good money. Had the chance to buy Norton Commando years ago for £900 turned it down but now wished I hadn't.

I concur , should never have sold my RG 500 and I should have bought a Ducati MHR in 1986. It would be worth ten times the money now

Walked away from a mint cbx1000 a few years back at the old Birmingham Superbike centre, £5k and I thought it was too steep ! Pristine and stock and I bought an RS250 aprilias instead, I’d lusted after a cbx since I was 16 and my dads mate had one, parked next to my AP50 it was where I wanted to be !

My 1974 Kawasaki KH250 triple 2 stroke.

Be worth a fortune now.

Still, my present bike, a 2003 Fireblade 954 is fast becoming a classic so I'm told.

somewhere inbetween the right and wrong

Had a VanVan that I always intended to mod into a more cruiser-ish bike.

Had to sell it when I relocated as I didn't have the space (or cash).

Maybe next time

Hav you seen the new Cub125?

Pretty good looking bike, same engine as the Grom and some of the other 125s they've got doing the rounds.
