"first real ride out of the season yesterday 6 hrs in the saddle feeling it today god i hate getting old"
It’s not getting old, it’s just wind chill effecting your arse, not used to it after a winter in the car.. |

"Get an Airhawk seat pad. Your arse will thank you. "
I agree and have an Airhawk for my GS and my old Bonny - both seats are different shapes.
Cover about 12000 miles a year on the GS touring and never get a sore bum.
Fantastic product as long as you read the instructions and only put a little air into it!

"just ordered a 'comfort' seat for the multistrada see how that goes i'm used to 500 mile days just got to get the arse back in to saddle mode after a winter in the van"
I use a sheepskin cover. It's brilliant and believe it or not keeps your ass cool in Europe. Well not so sweaty as sitting on the PVC seat cover. Got a Web address for seat size sheep skin off cuts, they are a good price. Have to stitch or attach yr own seat strap. I used a punch and eye and attached elastic cord |
