The first triumph Daytona t955i the right hand bends were deadly as exhaust manifold would catch lifting the back wheel until you ground a hole in it and it blew. New down pipes cost me lots LOL otherwise nice bike.

The best for me was a fire blade rr

Only problem with Suzuki is the off centre oil pump and can starve the engine on bends have lost a few shell bearings because of it.

Good old gs1000 and her younger sister gsx1300r.

Would love to have ( don't laugh too hard ) a cruiser type ( for next to nothing, wink wink ) that I can restore to go with my V-Strom daily rider, my restored C-90 and my GPZ500

I want a c90 but can’t justify the cost of a 70’s/80’s one

I know what you mean, I always fancied one but couldnt afford it so I wasnt really looking for one but a friend of mine bought 10 in various states of disrepair off a guy that used to own a pizza shop and used the C90's to deliver, he sold them all on to me and a few other friends, apart from 2 that he kept for himself, the wierd thing is that I didnt know he got them from the pizza shop until I went round to his house to pick it up and then found out I used to work at that shop years before so theres a very good chance that I actually rode this one

I've had over a hundred bikes (used to buy and sell at the Glasgow motorbike auction in the 80s).

I've NEVER had a bad bike.

I've had times without a bike, and that's not good.

Now on a 200 Burgman, and LOVE it!!

Cx500 and cx500 turbo handled like a sack of spuds and a turbo that added 4-5 extra bhp was a waste of time
