Toying with the idea of changing my 700 yammy for a twist and go maxi scooter of some description (Yamaha xmax 300 caught my eye) to use for commuting to work and probably use it around town as traffic is ridiculous most days I feel more progress would be made. Just wondering had anybody made the switch or do they own a scooter. |

Yep I use a couple of different bikes and definately the scooter is better locally being so much more nimble, but they cant do everything well. Pick up a cheap one or borrow one to evaluate before you switch from your 700, you may end up running both. |

Thank you all for taking time to respond.
The search has opened up now…
Very interested in the Honda Forza 350 and the ADV 350. Both would be perfect for the commute and a bit of nipping around town
In contact with the local Honda dealer now and have to send over details and pics of my bike for a px value. TBC |

We had a Bergmann 450 nice in a straight line but being a single cylinder slow coming coming back up out of a corner twos up changed it for a honda silverwing 600 much better response realy comfortable and enough storage space you could ever need abs too
Never thought we would get into scooters after having a fireblade and still have our gsxr1000
But it's so different and comfortable especially as you can change your leg position we got an 07 plate immaculate with only 12000 miles for just over 2k they hold thier value well too xx |
