I tried one once. I found it too wide in the seat and very weighty. I think even with a lowering kit I'd still be on tip toe

I’ve had one, great bike but I also had a ZZR1400 and I personally preferred that

It's not a touring bike by any means, the pillion accomodation is very poor. You'd be better off with a zzr1400 in my humble opinion.

The hyabusa is one of my favourite looking bikes but I found them really uncomfortable to ride

Best thing to do is test ride a few. Personally I loved my old one, could ride for hours no issues. Rode my mates Gen2 and wrists were killing me after 30 minutes. Maybe I'm just getting old lol

Chalus, France and various UK

We had a a gen 1 Busa for 5 years , only sold it when we move to France . Carol loved it . Great in the twistys 2 up . Low centre of gravity. Never had any problem with wrist ache. Recently had a BMW 1200 Adventure . Got rid of the quick sharp . And bought another gixer 1000. But we are considering another Busa . You can poke your zzr 14's lol

What about an adventure bike, with the shit state of the roads, it could be an alternative.

Having had several GSX1300R's Hayabusa they are no good for touring or scratching! Bars are short and low and the bike is about a foot too long in the wheel base. Tyres are J spec and expensive! I did over 50k miles on them and it's a love hate relationship.

Try a Honda cbr1100xx Super Blackbird

Great for touring or lean down and crack the throttle !

I thought about one of those at the same time I bought the Blackbird but I found them to be twice the price so didn't even try one!

Honestly depends on what generation busa, how much do you have to spend? That's the question with all bikes, what will suit you best at this time you require.

Can't beat a boxer engine for low weight distribution, love the r1200s, hp2 came after. Pre liquid cooled of course, I had an r1150gs and I used to burn gsxr 1000s on the back roads, thought I was a typical bmw driver lol, I still make streetfighters in my shed

Rode a Busa Hearse for a year, 800kg of hearse and the unrestricted Busa

Always got asked to give the deceased a last blast, came close to joining him in the coffin a few times
