"If they have any sense, tucked up in the warm & dry waiting for spring
That’s exactly what I’m doing xx
I've had my days of riding in snow & rain & now ride for sunny pleasure only" same why take the risk |

First ride out today was good to be back on the buke again. Not had a bike in 4 years. Confidence building now but felt amazing to be out on the road again |

Near Glasgow here, just had a fantastic weekend away on the bike up to the Highlands - Altnaharra, Ardnamurchan, back through Glencoe. Amazing roads and not a drop of rain over the weekend! 625 miles, my first big run of the year. Found a great B&B near Strontian with a sauna, hot tub and drying facilities. Great food, and the owners a former biker too. |

I know this is early... but I'm planning a tour of Scotland... approx 2,500 miles next year... Towards end of April and early May. Starts off the ferry at Cairnryan and returns there approx two weeks later. Can give details to those interested... but happy to be joined on a given day or meets in evening, offers of sleepovers and shower stops be great... Its not take take as certainly willing to give... Been fab over 20 years.. so know what I like and not here to mess anyone round.. Know its a while off.. but that gives you time to make space in your calendar and time to decide if its for you... Happy to chat but realistically looking for firm commitment... Happy biking... xx |

Jesus, this rain! Hardly used the bikes this year, had a few weekends and a few day runs and have had the chance to ride the bike into work in Edinburgh a few times but that's it. You just know it'll be heaving down for Thunder at the end of the month |

West is definitely looking best weather wise so Inveraray or Oban or both is most likely destinations tomorrow if anyone wants to tag along from Edinburgh or any where on route. Just give us a shout on here. |

Weather ain't looking good for this coming weekend unfortunately, but it can change. Hoping for a couple of more runs out before the end of the year. Still want to get to Glen Lyon and a few other places. |

"I keep my bike on the road all year in the hope I'll get out on the odd weekend. Need to get a new tyres soon though. Any suggestions of places?"
Don't know of any places around Stirling, I get mine locally in Edinburgh. |

Not that local but Strathearn Tyres in Crieff. You can scrub them in on the way home. |
