Perfect bike for it. We were shopping for one once but accidently ended up with a BMW RT but that's been all over Europe and we've had some great times. Enjoy.

Absolute gem of a bike. We rode round Europe several times, well not several times in one go. I bought mine new 2009 St 1300 and was keeping it forever till a crazy car driver wrote it off last year with both of us on it. Can't think of a better bike for your adventure

Also done TT on it a lot. Even got a round of applause scratching it round windy corner up on the mountain

I've just bought a GTR1400 for long distance touring. I'm sure it will be fine eventually but at the moment it absolutely scares the pants off me

Gtr 1400 is one of the best bikes I’ve ever owned I had 2 of them putting about 45k on each, bit heavy but they inspire confidence, Wish I still had one

Should we do a big bike meet up eg big bikes .

We close to matlock. If if fancy camping we have a fishing pool and camping area in Staffordshire close to alton towers if passing. Summer best.
