I usually disappear up into rural Mid Wales.
Pop into The Owls Nest if I’m off to a camping weekend. Baffle Haus good place to meet mates from Mid Wales. Quite often a good mix of bikes. Classic through to modern.
Seen one chap there on what looks like a chop he built in the 80’s and still using it now…..never been washed ?? |

"Have just got back on a bike after a very long break, would be nice to meet up with others. Used to go up around Brecon area when was riding before."
Always looking for people to ride with and explore. Never know where to go when out alone |

"I'd be up for a ride out once the weather gets a bit warmer n dryer."
Thermals and waterproofs....
Seriously though, its not as much fun in the wet so i see your point. Cold doesnt bother me too much, as long as its not icy |

"I’m up for a ride year round, but as already said, it’s not so much fun in the cold and wet. Anyway, anyone looking for a ride out, hit me up. "
Cold is easier to deal with as options for heated clothing etc, but the wet is nasty. Even the most expensive waterproofs have gaps and rain finds a way in eventually |

In the cariff area n before summer comes I maybe looking to update to a new (secondhand) bike.
Anyone got any suggestions on where to go? Or maybe more importantly places to avoid so I don't end up with a problem bike. |

Depends how new you want to go. DRL in Barry always used to sell a selection of second hand bikes and he's reliable and honest |
