Hello,

Can anyone recommend an in line spark tester that fits motorcycle spark plugs (NGK CR9E) and that actually works.

Thanks,

JJ

It's confusing nowadays. It used to be that all spark plugs had the same top where the plug cap fits. Some also had a little nipple kind of thing that you either screwed onto the end of the plug or removed it depending on the fitting the plug cap had.

Nowadays on most plugs the screw on nipple is now part of the plug and not removable.

I hope that makes sense.

It does and as far as I can see all the in line spark testers are made for the car style pluds i.e. nipple, and not for the threaded type.

Looks like I'll have to buy a car type and modify it,

Xx

I bought a car one, and a spark plug cap, and made my own.

"I bought a car one, and a spark plug cap, and made my own."

That's my plan now, just need to find a car one that has good reviews and doesn't disintegrate in use!
