check out fortnine videos. he has done a few on Helmets, science and the different ratings etc.. it interesting.
you're probably OK with a few minor bumps. helmet should last but it's normally the cheekpads etc that deteriorate and don't give a firm fit. |

There's a company called ( don't snigger ! ) The Helmet Inspection Company who, for £40, will test your helmet and confirm whether it has any damage / deterioration etc.
Great if you drop your lid and want total peace of mind without spending another few hundred quid on a new one just in case. |

I’ve currently got a Shark Skwal , thinking of maybe upgrading to a Spartan.
The Ruroc helmets look pretty good, but I’ve seen quite a few mixed reviews about them.
I quite like the look of some of the Ixon lids too |
