First time out this year on the Triumph Explorer. We headed to Seaham. Good to see a good few bikes there. Would have been perfect to have had a social with another biker couple while we were there |

My new tiger 900GT is in for first service in 2 weeks. Had to run it in at TT, the Island where you can go as fast as you want and I was restricted to 5000 revs. Now to sell my 2016 Triumph 1200xrx Explorer |

New venue added to the Barnard Castle Bike night, this Thursday 13th it will be at The Ancient Unicorn in Bowes, big area to park plenty of seating in and out, and biker food specials for bike night only, be good ti see some folk there |

Been to wet lands once. Took our own coffee so can't comment on how good or not it is from the van, not sure how you think it's crap if you haven't been though. It was good craic the night we went and a good mix of biker folk, in no way is it full of power rangers speeding about. You park up, grab a coffee n sandwich and have great chat. Much like any other bike night. It was busy and that was a Wednesday night we went. |

Great ride down to Whitby on Saturday. The place was packed with Pirates, apparently it was a Pirate festival weekend. Great few hours spent before our ride back home. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Parked up outside whistle stop cafe amongst all the other bikes and biker folk, how many were fab folk we'll never know |

At Bowes once a month, in Baranard castle once a month, 2 each month, different venues just for change of places to meet up, may 1 left for each as said by F&B nights are closing in now, next 1 is the 21st at No15 and Curlews bookshop in Barnard Castle from 5.30 onwards, all are Welcome, even Harley riders |

For the first time in years I have SORNED the bike, not done a great deal of milage on it this kast year, even thinking about giving up biking altogether.... on kidding haha, this will be the firzt time in years I have not ridden all year most weathers |

I do all my bike servicing myself. As I bought a new tiger 900GT a year ago, triumph did the 1000 mile 1st service a month later, the service light is due to come on. So, I have bought a tool to reset the service light from Healtech, MM T02. If anyone needs their light switched off and the tool is compatible, check their website, I could be the man to help you out |

Managed to get out Friday and Saturday, had friends from Germany come stay for 2 nights before they headed to Scotland, had a good ride around the local area, was a bit windy and cold uo on the A66 area, Tan hill and Brough Castle was like winter, plenty of coffee stops. |

Mrs F had a Honda VFR400 NC30 many moons ago, it didn't like the cold carb freeze was common with them |

This is an early mk1 bandit ,I’d say this is more due to carbs not being set properly than the cold . But once she’s going it’s a dream to smash about on . Took a while to get the tyre warm today though |
