"I had a Keiss pair which caused a couple of small burns on my hands. I stick with heated grips now x"
Thanks for your advice. I have heated grips on my Bandit but use a Honda cbf 125 for my commute and not sure if the electrical system would cope with heated grips. |

Hi. Heated gloves are far better than heated grips . With the gloves your whole hand is kept warm . I use gerbing heated gkoves ,jacket and socks . They are perfect. I onlybwear a thin top under the heated jacket and then my motorbike jacket. Never been cold. I ride all weathers except snow and icey conditions . Connect the supplied loom to your bike battery then plug your kit into the loom 1 connection . Go on the gerbing website for best prices and fantastic service .They are UK based .
Good luck |

Buy a set of handlebar muffs. Look rubbish and take a little bit to get used to, but dry and warm hards using just summer gloves inside. When my bike was my only mode of transport I used them in all weathers, dry warm hands and no electrical gubbings to mess about with... |

I was looking at Keiss gear but a pair of used Furygan heated gloves came up at a good price so I got those; only used them on their own batteries so far but planning to add the hard wire kit to the bike at some point.
Based on the charger and batteries they seem to have the same heating system as the iXon gear, so I'd assume there's a few name brands buying in the components rather than developing their own.
Wasn't sure I needed them until the first time I used them in cooler temps and realised that they stopped the end of rides becoming uncomfortable/unpleasant, same thing that I found with heated grips I suppose . |

I'm not keen on heated gloves after one of my sons gloves burnt his hand.
I have heated grips on my Triumph which work well but I also have handlebar muffs (I'm an old school biker and dont own a car) and they keep my hands out of the wind/rain etc.
These, combined with heated grips mean lovely warm dry hands and I've never had an issue with cold wet hands since I fitted them. They are really easy to fit and I only have them on the bike in the winter. |

I bought some Gerbing heated gloves a couple of years back and tbh wasn't impressed. I just didn't get a lot of heat off them and hands were still fekkin cold in winter even with them and heated grips. Handlebar muffs work for some but I didn't like not being able to see my hands. Maybe I'm just a cussy funt - thankfully wfh now so no need to commute in winter! |
