I was over on the island recently, the amount of 40 zones is appalling. Douglas to Ramsey (not the mountain road, is now 40! no idea what’s going on. Routes off the course are not affected. Have I missed something? |

There have been a lot of temporary speed limits the last few month due to road maintenance and hedge cutting around the course. A lot were removed weekend gone |

Thank god for that, I genuinely believed that someone had made an awful decision. But over the years there has been some bizarre accidents due to course prepping. So the modicum of sense is actually reasonable and just. Oddly enough I do support the Laxey coast road limits, far too many accidents during the festival. Albeit some what hypocritical as I have stopped for a chat about speed on that road, one out of the three requests for a chat. But got off for being a resident at the time lol |

"I'm a TT virgin and am going for the first time this year and yes, I feel like a little kid 2 weeks before Xmas "
Another TT virgin and also fabs virgin attending... All booked. Can all the fabs have some fun there? Any plans? I'm in. |

Whilst everyone is looking forward to the TT, there is a crippling staff shortage in the service industry and public transport. They can’t cope at the moment let alone when 40,000 visitors arrive. |

So should we stay at home and not bring all our money that the Island desperately needs? Swings and Roundabouts |

"Absolutely not, just saying you need to be prepared for a long wait wherever you go. "
Like that at every TT we've been to, buses not turning up and a long wait for food. All good, as the Island always struggles TT festival with the thousands of people who descend on the rock |

I appreciate that, but what I’m trying to say is that it has the possibility of being worse than ever this year. Pubs have no staff, busses have no drivers. It’s not great at the moment and I can’t see it improving for TT. |

As we always say 'things turn out best for folk who make the best of the way things turn out'
TT after 3 years will be awesome no matter what. |

Oh ignore him, typical bloody Manx moaner if you are planning on getting a bus just check the Bus Vannin website in the morning and it'll give a list of any cancelled services and there's always queues at the bar in TT week |

"It get harder each year to book for the next year but we have done it for race week "
I got onto it after 15mins of refreshing page. Got the sailings we wanted. Filled in everything then onto payment. I messed up the verification code for my card and timed out. Spent another 2 hours refreshing page till I was connected to booking page again. Managed to get ferry out we wanted but not the inward one. Still the day back we wanted just a little earlier on the Sunday we would have liked. But hey ho we are booked for 2023 |

Cheeky pic at the bungalow "
We had a similar pic taken at bungalow but we can't find it anywhere. We'll just have to go back up in a few days and take another. Oh what a chore that will be |

2nd day of racing. What a great feeling after all that's happened and happening in the world the greatest motorcycle racing is back. Weather had been kind up to now. We've even managed to meet some fab people also been let down too but that comes with the territory, more so over here. 5 days left over here and having a blast |
