Evening! Does anybody have experience of bolt r13 boots ? My sidis are worn out and I'm looking for a budget friendly replacement

Newport

Only advice I can give is don't buy mail order....boots seem to have changed to a much tighter fit these days, especially around the calf. I really struggled to find boots that fitted me footwise and I could then zip up. I don't think I have fat legs either!!

Would advise taking a trip to M&P in Swansea and spend some time trying on boots. They have a good selection and stock most sizes. After spending alot of time going to other places and mail order I managed to find a pair that fitted there. Still have to wear my jeans over the boots though!!

Don't get me started on gloves for the bigger hands.....

J&S have a shop at Metro Centre Retail Park. You should find some budget boots and able to try them on. As poster above says avoid mail order as sizing these days is a nightmare

As above, try before you buy. I went from sidi which were under sized to TCX which seem to be perfect for me

I often try shoes on in a shop then go home and find them online cheaper so buy them there. I wear DMs and often save £20 to £30 on a pair online.

I have to get 10s to fit my size 9 feet.

Usually though, I use ex-military high leg boots. If you know how to look after them they last for many years. German or Austrian para boots are the best.

We bought some similar from Altberg. Military suppliers but make a special bikers boot too. Not cheap but the best bike boots we've ever had. Really are waterproof unlike most others that claim to be. Like you say though you need to look after them. Had mine 10 years plus and still look as new as could be. Mrs F has had hers 4 years and still look brand new

Stick with sidi’s. I love mine, worn sidi’s for last 15 years or so.

I find they fit me well (must have Italian shape feet) just a shame that despite being marketed as waterproof they're not

Had Sidi Blackrain then Blackrain evo's.

Great boots that last.

Now on some Dainese Freelanders which are also excellent.

Nothing worse than trench foot, I hate wet and cold feet.
