I’ve been going to Rykas at Box Hill for years. Since way before I could ride myself.
Always enjoy a little pootle there on a Sunday and recently took Becky for her first visit.
Are there many on here that head to Rykas? |

It's my local, all most too local so normally drop by for a quick look before head off on a longer ride or little local blat.
Hopefully Becky enjoy the ride out too?

My first trip to box hill was in the late 70’s on the back of a parents bike.
Back then Ryka’s was a caravan in the car park.
The food was better as well..!! 
First rode there myself in 1986 and have been going quite regularly since.
Only ever go on nice days as I’m usually riding something rare or special. |

I love popping along to Rykas on a Sunday morning, getting a coffee and admiring all the different bikes.
It seems to attract a real variety of people, getting out of london or on the way to the coast. |

I’d never have believed it had been going for that long. It’s definitely a nice place to meet up on the way out further a field. Just need that donation now. |

Was drinking rather than biking today at the star in Dorking sooo many bikes going past, a few ladies riding and pillion
Rykers regular but just back for 10 days on the bike in Spain and Portugal so just cleaning the bike this weekend and drinking he he |

Im from south london and Use to go here alot but sold my bike couple years ago and havent bin as much and lost touch with people I used to ride . Tho I am on the look for another bike and will be up there most ride outs be great to meet few local people for meet up ride outs etc |

Lived locally for years and been going since the 90”s… nice to see it busy and the new owners investing in the future of the place.
Maybe we could arrange a social coffee and a ride out on the bikes… happy to lead as I know lots of nice routes. |

I remember Rykas when the big car park was full of bikes and the cars were in the small one are they still carpet burgers and dishwater coffee or have things improved
