the Goldilocks Zone

You're best off loking at air bnb lads - bit of a pain if you have to get a couple of houses for a larger group, but I've done a few bike tours of scotland and northern england with a few mates, and they generally aren't worried how you get there

Most hotels and B&Bs are bike friendly nowadays.

The myth of motorcyclists turning up and trashing the place has now worn very thin.

Saying that me and my Dad where turned away from a pre booked B&B in Scotland a few years ago.

It was his last touring holiday, both wet through and him not well in his late 70's too.

I gave them a right slating for it.

What were their reasons for turning you away? Surely not just for riding bikes?!?!?!

Ha! No, it was because we where both soaking.

She answered the door, looked me up and down and said "you're not coming in my house like that".

Then slammed the door in my face...

I think you should name and shame the B&B on here so no of us book it.
