I own a Tuono 1100 factory, hands down the best bike I have ever owned. I have riden the 1290 superduke and its equally as much fun. Both have loads of grunt and mid range. You'll never stop grinning on either.

I have also ridden the Street fighter V4S, I thought it was too to top endy to make fun for the road. It only starts to get going at over 9k revs.

I've ridden the MT10 and the S1000R Sport. Both absolutely fantastic.

Can't say one is actually better than the other.

For me, it was the BMW.
