" Both riders but not HDs, however we’ve had some great weekends at thunder in the Glenn’s and hoping we can make it next year now 2021 is cancelled!! "
Lots of folks still going up to aviemore this year. As long as restrictions are still eased, it should be fun |

Lots of accomodation available due to Thunder being cancelled. We managed to get a glamping pod in aviemore itself. No tent this year |

Ooo a Harley thread, anyone know how to get rid of the horrendous alarms on the efi bikes, or an independent?
I doubt the wizard in Preston can do alarm programming.
It’s forgotten the rfid code, not a fob issue.
I refuse to give Harley anymore money for such shoddy quality parts.
I honestly cannot believe how low quality the modern bikes are. |

Never ridden a Harley or any other American cruiser/chop (or Jap/Euro one).
As a sports bike ride rider, am I missing something? I’ve sat on a few at shows but never got out on the road |

A couple of years ago, i lost interest in hooning aroind the countryside. 4 speed triples a sprint st and many supermoto's in the last few years. Rather than pack it in, i decided to go down a route i never thought of or was interested in, cruisers. So i bought a Harley. It took a good 18 months to get used to, because i had to learn how to ride a low slow cruiser so it re ignited my interest in riding. I am getting too old to try and plant myself in the scenery and i find it very relaxing cruising around looking at the scenery.
The wife bought me a Speed Triple R in 2019 for my birthday, she likes the speed. I found myself using the Harley more, so the R was sold. |

I must admit I make more noise (moans and grumbles) getting off the bike than the bike itself. Never enjoyed a riding a naked (other than a MV Dragstar) so have been looking at classic bikes (pre 1960), but I’ll go and see if I can get a ride of Harley. Just need to see how it would cope with the twisties here in Wales |

I recommend you take a few different kinds of harleys out and hopefully you'll find one you like. It's a chilled out way to ride that some guys can't adapt too but a lot love it because it's different. The social side is a bonus too. Good luck and enjoy. |

Most Harley dealers have a decent selection of demo bikes available and no problem having a go |

Thanks. I’ll have a look for my nearest dealer and go and have a look. I know it’s nearly time to move the F4 and 916 intro the man cave |

Yes
Street glide for long trips and a chopper to wake up the neighbours.
I was thinking splashing out on the new street glide but I hear they have a stability problem and as with every new Harley, it is never a good idea to get the first of a new model |
