Usually out as a group, meeting mid moring, couple of brew stops, lunch and tea then home. |

Nice weather and now back. Miss all the fun and games.

When I was using the bike in London I’d cover a couple of hundred a week. When it was up north on the best roads in the country I managed a whole 32 miles between MOT’s!

My usual weekend ride is anywhere between 60 - 100 miles. It all depends on my mood really or if I'm riding with others.
I have an electric motorbike with a range of approx 100 miles. Last week I rode home from the Midlands to Plymouth, a distance of 226 miles. I stopped after 70 miles for my first charge at Gloucester, then did another 75 miles to Taunton for the second charge, then got home on the electric equivalent of fumes. They are not the best for long distances but they are improving year on year. |

2-300 in a day is plenty , maybe 2-400 if its for a night out , covers london for a dance , most miles covered in a day 750 london to lanark and back . 13 hours all four seasons in one day including snow black ice and gale force winds , never again . |

I've just been heading out for a couple of hours during this pandemic, keep my hand in. But I've done all day on a bike, with suitable rests before, mostly it's things like training days when that allows. My seat gets hard after about 90m but as long as the breaks are there, three of those in a day. Again, depends if it's just a trip out from home or a bit longer away. |

I once rode a Honda CB500 from Marmaris in Turkey to Glasgow, Scotland.
Absolutely stupid. Two and a bit days spent in a sleep deprived daze and can't remember half the trip. I do remember being caught in torrential rain and parking up under a bridge. I woke up a few hours later, bent over the tank with the bike on its centre stand. |

I’m off on a 450 round trip today, giving a friend a Pilly to pick up his new to him bike but usually if I get out it will be an all dater with lots of stops to admire scenery so 250-300 is normal.

For a bimble i don't count the miles, just the hours.
I can go for an 8/10hr bimble on my own easy! The odd stop for a drink or, nice view!
Don't often go out in groups. The ones near me, they tend to go max 30miles and stop for HOURS! Would rather ride! Or they are arseholes!! |

Depends on if I am going somewhere. Riding down to the south of Spain I might cover 800 miles in a day. In a group that would be down to 4 or 500.
Some weekends I managed to do nearly 1000 miles just going nowhere, just following the road and sunshine.

Every other weekend I rode my Honda 550/4 from Plymouth to Barrow in Furness. All weathers, with only petrol stops. I seem to remember the bike handled it all very well, apart from the K and N air filters, in really wet weather. Tights were handy for a quick cure, to stop too much water being sucked in.
I doubt if I could do it now though.
