So tomorrow is the first real big club meet since lock down. Decided to give the bike a once over. Tyres fine, oil fine, lights fine brakes are OK. Key in press the bloody starter... Nothing, nada, zero and f*ckin zilch. Check the usual suspects side stand switch starter button. Seat off test battery.... Much swearing and muttering. Swearing sweetly, start ya barsteward, press the button and then the penny dropped. I didn't pull the clutch in.... Bike is rumbling and burbling away quite happily as I stood and felt incredibly stupid.... Aaaah I must bbe going bloody senile....

......easily done mate! Did exactly the same with my sons moped!

Fortunately my old Blade doesn't have that arrangement.

As a guy who is into classic/ vintage bikes

I bought a MV Agusta F4 from a dealer, he delivered the bike but I could not be there so Jess took delivery

Got home all excited to go for a blast, got all my leathers ect on, key in the ignition nothing

Shit what the f—k is wrong now stormed into the house grabbed the phone straight on to the dealer

After a lot of swearing and me telling him what a shister he was

Any way slammed the phone down then Jess said what’s wrong I told her I have just been turned over, the bloody bike is dead, then that light bulb moment shit shit shit when I test rode it I could not Start the bike until the dealer reminded me this is a modern bike you need to pull the clutch in to start it

After loads of grovelling on the phone I lost the interest to go out !!!
