The torque curve is very different. The 750 is a very capable machine but if you have experienced the thou then you know you that the extra displacment makes the difference in linier shunt.
I personally love 750 capacity sports bikes as they are a great balance. Shame most manufacturers killed the class. |

Yeah very true xx to be honest my circumstances have changed so I’ll only be out on the bike maybe every other week? So it’s either the gsxr a 748 or an Augusta f4 750 ? |

Don't get a 748. Its a stunning looking bike (I've got a 996R) but you will be ringing its neck looking for a non existent top end.
My mate has a ZX636 with a power commander and full exhaust and it runs rings around the 996.

Yeah get a 748. You know what they say about Ducati riders though. |

Aye deep wallets for when they fail lol.
My £800 ZZR1100 D2 is probably the best bang for buck i have ever purchased.
Change of fork springs and shock and I can still hustle it on ride out.
I used to have a YZF750 which I sold to buy a gixxer thousand.
Totally regret doing that.
My mate had an F4 when they first came out. Again one of Tambourinies finest. It was a gorgeous bike. I only briefly got a shot between Perth and Stirling.
Was nimble but felt slower than the YZF.
Prices of those have are stable at the high end.
