" ....Just ride safe and don't push it on the empty roads "
I'll second that. I live rural and there's still plenty of farmers out on tractors and quads, etc. Some are driving like real dickheads with the roads so quiet. |

I'm lucky as my Bonnie is my only form of transport and I'm considered a keyworker(with permission letter from my employers to cover me if I get a tug) though only an occasional commute to work at the mo..
On my 35-mile trip into work yesterday morning I had 3 drivers pull out in front of me.. one quite clearly saw me at a roundabout but couldn't give a fuck, another half-asleep pulling out from a junction, and going through a village (with no other traffic in sight and no obstruction to her vision) I had a woman pull out of her driveway into my path as I approached..Doh!
I've ridden bikes since I was a small kid and then since I was old enough to be legal on the road, I also learnt to wise-up after doing such stupid and dangerous things myself on a bike, especially in my late teens. (Also had a car jump traffic lights on Xmas Eve'76 which hit me side-on when on my then Triumph 500cc, and almost killed my then prospective wife who was pillion - guess who lost the court case?)
I've always been a confident rider and make myself seen, and I also try to be aware and considerate to other road-users myself..I certainly don't suffer from complacency coz as others on here have said, ride like everyone's out to kill ya! lol Rant over hehe |

Too right everyone, make yourself as visible as you can (keep it stylish though , and please no 'POLITE' gear lol) and ride as if you're invisible. Wankers come in all shapes and sizes and not restricted to certain vehicles, even bikes unfortunately so yeah. But most of all enjoy the ride |
