A number of times I have been having light conversation with a newbie. Making them aware of the likely quantity and content of the messages they'll encounter.
Trying to ensure they don't get overwhelmed and run away.
Just happened again. She said having a friend would be good. Exchanged pics. Being cautious I didn't send friend invite, as cocks can offend those of a nervous disposition. haha.
Hour later she's left the site.
I'd be interested in the woman's perspective on what would provoke a bid for freedom? |

Agree with the above - there are very few and I’m sure most seem to be fake and vanish very quickly - you might need to save some of your energy and forget about the newbies although your intentions are lovely. Good luck x |

Well i hope they dont just disappear. Gets frustrating, especially if the nature of the messages pushes them away.
After all, unlike anywhere else, people do actually chat here.
Surprised there's so few on here in oz.
Maybe in blighty we're all a bit depraved?

They're guys with a fake profile.
As I've said before on here....if looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a single guy pretending to be a duck. |

Could be a number of things really, but fab just might not be for them?
Fab is a bit different to when I joined 4 years ago. Alot more guys who are very "intense" and bombard you with messages. Although i did initially join on a couples profile but if you're a single female you tend to get alot more messages even without pictures.
Tbh im not sure I would bother with newbies, I'd wait on atleast a photo verification or their first meet to make sure. Alot of that effort can go in to them just leaving like you've experienced.

"Prob overwhelmed at all the messages
This is true a couple if my friends have joined and left because of it. They didn't even get to setting filters or putting a pic on. "
That's why newbies shouldn't be allowed to receive in the first week to give them time to have a browse. Then the amount of messages they can receive is incrementally raised. Not sure when the Floodgates should be opened though |
