	Not quite sure what the couples review two below is about. They posted sat night ,,did they go to the club ,,get harassed, drive back to Plymouth and write the review before midnight. ? We were there last night found the owners had certainly taken on board the criticism of a bad review last week. Notices warning single fellas to stay clear ,ask,,don't touch or harrass people or they will be chucked out. It's a couples and singles venue, there will always be someone trying to overstep the mark, but we are all adults. If they do ,,tell them,, tell the owners they will act on it. The club could do with more support from couples, give it a try, we were quite suprised when we started going 9 months back,,good place to go on a sat night. Date: 8 November 2015

	This was our first visit for some time, and we were impressed with the improvements they have made. The lounge area is tastefully done, and the extra rooms up stairs give plenty of variety and add to the wet areas . As for the clientele, well we had a fantastic night, we met a great couple and had a very enjoyable time . There were a number of single guys there as per, but to be fair We didn't experience any problems and they were respectful at all times . Just wish we could get there more often.. 	First thing is: we have known Danny & Stuart a long time, and no club could have warmer, friendlier hosts. The facilities in the club are excellent, clean, and constantly improving. Danny and Stuart clearly are not shy of investing in their business. However, what lets this place down is the clientele, rather than the environment or the hosts. We went on Saturday, and were on of only three couples in, with about a dozen single guys. Now, we don't have an issue with single guys per se... in fact that's often what we are looking for, but we quite quickly came to the conclusion that there wasn't particularly anyone in that we fancied, yet were still followed, badgered and surrounded every time we moved from one place to another. The "chat-up lines" and social approaches were toe-curling when they did come. Seriously: "Can I play with myself and get a closer look at your fanny?!" Oscar Wilde he ain't. It was also amazing how many guys tried the line, "The problem with this club is the idiot single guys..." Reminds me of the old environmental phrase "You're not stuck IN traffic, you ARE traffic..." We are unlikely to be coming back to SQ for the forseeable, which we are gutted about because we love Danny & Stuart to bits. But the inability of some to read any kind of social signal made the night just too odd... If you have checked a couple out, and can see that they do not have a hair on their bodies, it is unlikely they are going to be attracted to someone that looks like they might well comb their back. If you ask what they are into and they reply "Travel, food, reading and theatre", don't reply, "I meant sexually." They probably knew what you meant, and their vanilla answer was a gentle way of saying "Not interested, thanks." And finally, as "left-leaning people", we don't need to come to a swingers club to hear people sounding off in the bar area with homophobic nonsense about Pride parades adversely affecting town centre businesses, the scourge of "politically-correct, left-leaning media" or your views on migration, thanks. Steamer Quay is at least as good as any of the clubs I've visited, in every way!

The welcome was very friendly.

Entry fees and charges are great value.

Facilities are the best I've ever known.

And, most important, everyone there was friendly making for a very relaxed atmosphere.

My only criticism is that the place was quiet considering that it was a Bank Holiday night.

Here's hoping that Steamers is a great success.
