 | We probably need to apologise to the couple below for their experience with us last night. If people arrive at around 8pm, when the club opens, we often suggest they join others in Flirts bar for pre-club drinks. Not quite a "pub", but all part of the Xtasia complex, and around 8pm last night there would have been around 20 folks in enjoying each others early evening company.
The locker point we get. You are obviously used to another club where its standard to get a locker straight away, here we tend to work on the basis that coats, mobiles and anything that can be left for the evening, is far safer with the security team at reception than in lockers elsewhere in the building, so yes, unless going into the jacuzzi area, lockers aren't really needed. Its not a case of not allowed, of course you could have one if you wanted one, just no need unless going into the pool.
From there on we get the feeling you may have missed the tour and chat. Not to know who the hosts were indicates to us something somehow was missed. Just past reception, and literally blocking the entrance to the main dance room was a table with pink fizz and our hosts for the evening. Kinkytinx and Sixes666 didn't move from there until well after 10pm and met everyone possible coming in. All we can think is you managed to enter with maybe a group of staff early on from Flirts and crept past this area without being spoken to.
The 30 people in, well not sure if that was just 30 individuals, in which case you must have left around 9.30pm, or 30 couples which would have been later on, but yep, numbers were down for this event, but pretty sure you'll find that at most clubs during the summer holidays. Average for Red Carpet is around 120 people in.
No mention of casino table, food, magician, so again, you either left very early or missed a lot. We're not a full on play club from the start like elsewhere you visit. Its all about a build up, a tease, a dance, and later on in the evening the playrooms were full as always.
Have a look through the other reviews on here, you'll very quickly see its certainly not a club just for locals or regulars, with folks from all over the country, and very few regular local reviews showing up.
