| I've been to Rio's a number of times and have had some fun there, but have had more of it when I've been there as a couple. It used to be a much more friendly place, where people would chat pleasantly without feeling an obligation to have sex. They also have some strange policies, such as only allowing couples upstairs, and yet having restrooms on the ground floor, or just being rude to those paying their wages. But some of the clientele are annoying too. There are too many stalkers, and dysfunctional couples, such as the naked West Indian guys showing off their cocks and trying to get off with people, while their embarrassed girlfriends have to wear bikinis. Once I and my friend met a young deaf guy who pretended to be a virgin, but afterwards he texted us to say he was married. I have no idea what he was up to - we didn't care that he was a virgin apart from the fact he didn't last long - but it made me doubt if he was even deaf. Even sexy single women can't always meet decent men there, as Suzanne Portnoy's book 'The Butcher, The Baker, The Candlestick Maker' makes clear.
