| To sort of reply to the review below, I think how the staff are towards you depends on several factors - not all of them controlled by the customer. I get the impression (and have observed on a few occasions over the years), that they have to put up with some less than desirable/arrogant attitudes and behaviour from some people, which can't be nice to have to deal with.
That being said, there have been many times where I feel some of the staff have lacked a decent level of customer service on occasions for no apparent reason. I've lost count of the number of times I've stood at the bar politely waiting to be served to get some water or a towel etc. when no-one else is being served while they stand right in front of me ignoring me continuing on their chatting, and on the odd occasion while serving, barely making eye contact or acting like it's almost an imposition.
That doesn't apply to all staff and certainly not the majority of times, but it does happen a lot in my experience. Too much, in my opinion and I've always been very polite and said please/thank you etc. Although it's definitely not so bad that it would ever put me off going, having experienced how it can and should be in other places, I wouldn't say a reliably high level of customer service is one of Rios strong points (unless, it seems, you become very well known to the staff over many years).
