| This was about our sixth visit to the club, and may be out last. We've realised as a voyeuristic couple, the club isn't really suitable for us. We like to watch or be watched in a closed or controlled area/scenario, and there's limited places for that The Attic.
The Hell Room - this has a viewing window, but the window is so tinted and the room so dark nothing can be seen unless the door is open.
The Curtain Rooms - very open and not discrete, also nowhere to sit. That's 'IF' you can see through the curtains! Because of the spotlight in the hall, I couldn't see if the black curtain was drawn, so moved closer to the white curtain to find out. Didn't touch, just peered through - was 'informed' this wasn't permitted. How can you know if the black curtain is drawn, if you can't see through the white curtain because of the light bouncing off it?
The Dogging Car - has no glass in the doors, so we couldn't wind up the windows to be watched in this either. Despite the 'Ask' instructions on the side of the car to prevent ticking, our experience within this club shows that 'chancers' ignore this.
The Couples' Room - is too large and intimidating, so we won't go in there. We do watch now and then, but normally this room is empty, I suspect others find it too intimidating also.
Single Four-poster Bed Room - probably the best room for watching, but there are no seats directly outside the window!? We enjoyed using this room during a previous visit, but it could be better for both those watching and those being watched...
The Voyeur Room - if there was no mirrored glass, this room would be great. We (or another couple) could be watched from the seats.
Were quite selective, so ideally we would love to engage with another couple and build a rapport to see if they would like to watch us in one of the rooms, but this raises the other issue. There is nowhere to simply sit and chat quietly.
The dance floor area is too noisy, the corridor is... a corridor! Putting sofas in a corridor doesn't make it a social area any more than putting hospital beds in a corridor would make it a ward!
The sofa room is normally taken over by Roy and his Sybian, theregire not really a suitable place to chat.
I know this is a club rather than a coffee lounge, but seemingly other clubs have social areas so I doubt we're alone in thinking The Attic is lacking a decent one?
We liked this club, because we liked the discretion offered by no membership, but it seems we may start visiting Amigos instead. Or make the jump to actually become members of a club instead. Any recommendations?
