	we were nervous about going last night as we had heard mixed reviews but we needn't have worried it was small and cosy and everyone was really friendly for those of you that remember it reminded me of Xtasia when they were first in lickyend - above the divorce and separated club - before the news of the world and before the police raid ? but i digress!! We had a nice time and met some nice people - we didnt actually play as there was a few single guys there and they dont have a night when single guys are banned - restricted yes but thats all - one single guy came up to us for a chat and i reminded him that we had met before at a derby social and that he had said then that size 18 was 'fat' - (not that i was available) and he responded 'it was ok cos i had a pretty face' - you see - this is why i dont like single guys - oh yes and another perched on the arm of a sofa i was sharing with a lush blonde only to keep leering down her top whilst balancing a can of something in his other hand - he was good though as he did go away when politely asked to! average age here i guess was 40ish which was great for us - it was nice to be amongst our own group it was also very affordable - hope it stays that way and they have now taken the lease on building downstairs to put in hot tubs etc (not our thing that one) that should be open soon well we would go back as it was nice meeting everyone and you can always arrange to meet privately if the single men bother you or we could ask them nicely to keep the guys just to one night! 	We visited the attic at the end of feb, Cat's first time in a club and first time swinging - perfect place for a swinging virgin! No pressure to play at all (although we played plenty...), everyone very friendly, the regulars were lovely, not clicky at all and the owners were great too :-) We'll be going back when we get chance & look forward to seeing all the planned changes. 	we've rated the attic fun at moment but when their future plans are finished it'll be fabulous.went last night to the attic and WOW we had a great night,we've visited 32 diferent clubs in just over 9 years and our visit last night has restored our faith in swingers clubs.lots like us has seen a steady decline in players at swingers clubs they've become "clicky" & pricey etc.the attic is NONE of these,once you enter the club you'll be greeted by vinnie or ron with a warm welcome (no diferent to any other club i hear you say) but unlike other clubs your then on your own NOT at the attic the friendly welcome doesn't end once you paid entrance fee,infact it felt like a house party with people you already know,it was well attended by lovely people, ages 20 - late 50's.and it seemed everyone there was there for the same reason,FUN.derbys well known all over the world for rolls royce,toyota and derby crown china,who knows with your help the attic could be too.see you next week guys. There is also a small dance floor/bondage area which sees quite a bit of action!Since the new owners, Vince & Gina, and Ron & Chris took over recently, they have worked hard to build up visitor numbers, and it has worked with lots of friendly people attending. In fact, this has to be one of the friendliest clubs around. It is a non-pushy atmosphere (including the singles) and everyone always seems to have a great time.
