About Us

Shhh... Newcastle Swingers Club, the only venue of its kind in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne.

We strive to make sure you'll feel safe, secure and comfortable from the moment you arrive, and we look forward to welcoming you!

What do we offer?

Shhh... We opened our doors August 2018, operating from the existing BASE sauna in the heart of the city centre. We are well known for being the biggest and friendliest sauna with our warm welcome, spotlessly clean venue and relaxed atmosphere.

We offer a no pressure environment for you to explore your sexual fantasies and broaden your horizons in the knowledge that you will be safe and respected by all. We are not just a swinging club, we are so much more! Trading during the day from 11am - 7pm as a gay sauna we have a long standing reputation in LGBT community as well as operating regular trans events

Shhh... is spread over 2 floors of fun! With Spacious changing rooms, secure lockers, a comfortable lounge and licensed bar area, sauna, steam room, cinema, internet room, private zones, a jacuzzi and outdoor seating area - they're just some of the amazing facilities you'll find at Shhh!

Very discreet location and venue entrance, you'll easily find us as we are approx 5 minutes from Newcastle Central Rail and Metro Station. Great road and transport links too we also have three over night rooms if you would like to stay with us

We work closely with the council, police and public health to ensure that all of the correct licences are in place, to facilitate a safe, legal and pleasurable experience for all. We strive to offer the very highest of standards, setting us aside from some of the other venues out there

	Attended booty's bday bash on Saturday 8th, our first time in the club and found the staff very welcoming and the club was nice. Met a few old friends and made a few new ones, was a really good night which we were looking forward to and it didn't disappoint. Only down side was the fact that it was so cold, especially downstairs. Definitely put us off playing downstairs but we had some fun upstairs though. Helen and Andy XX Date: 10 March 2025

Only down side was the fact that it was so cold, especially downstairs. Definitely put us off playing downstairs but we had some fun upstairs though.

We worked well as a team to pull the night together even till the last second and as people know who attend it was definitely all worth it. 	Great club! First swingers club I've ever been to, and it's very welcoming. The sauna and jacuzzi are great! As a trans guy, I've had no issues and have felt nothing but welcome (once I got over my own nerves haha). The staff are wonderful and the free condoms are much appreciated! We have been to Shhh when it has been very busy, and when it's been quiet, we find the dynamics of both situations very different. Sometimes we find it better to engage with others when it's quieter, and it's great to feel the positive atmosphere on a "party night". The location of the club is perfect for anyone visiting the area as it's very close to the train station, hotels and other pubs and nightlife.
