| We visited Purple Mamba on Friday and found a little gem with a difference. Yes, it is small but deliberately so. It has a cosy, laid back and decadent feel. We were welcomed by Amanda who showed us around, asked us if we wanted a drink from the bar and then went on to introduce us to other people there. When we’d settled down at a table to listen to the excellent singer and guitarist we were joined by Chris, the co-owner, who took the time to get to know us. A lot of thought has gone into the layout and decor of the club and it is luxurious, spotlessly clean and with everything you could want in every room. On the night there were only a few people in, all very friendly and, although we didn’t play with anyone else, we made good use of the boudoir for ourselves and generally had a great time. Would we go again? Yes, definitely. You should give it a go, too.
