Had absolutely noone who could compete under the high ball
Due respect to Patchell and Anscombe stepping in so far down the pecking order no fault of their own but we suffered badly
Biggar and Halfpenny so badly missed today
Our back row was immense
But noone behind them to secure posession and gain decent ground
So disappointing again |

The defence of last week was lacking in the first half..set out too thin... kicked the ball away too much and at times left wanting at the ruck..but considering in the sae fairness they are one of the best in the world we did pretty well! |

Disagree at the breakdown
Not much more the back row could have done
The problem wasn't the kicking it was the fact that no fucker was there to collect
It's the very time when the reliable, consistant likes of Dan and Leigh are sorely missed
And they crucified us with their kicking down the wing on the flip side2
Ah well |

The breakdown is about more than the back row... we got turned ovet and outmuscled at times we shouldnt... if you havent got the chasers then you dont put the ball in the air.. shinglers kick instead of going to ground when going towards the sticks.. handing errors galore.. we lacked thought at times and direction. Truth is we are not good enough |

Wales knew England were going to put pressure on with line speed. Same as they did with Italy and Eddie Jones even said they would. Wales failed to deal with it. |

Boys,Boys,Boys. You played straight into their hands. What works against one team doesn't work against a world class counter attacking full back like Brown. And yet again when plan A went pear shaped we had no plan B. When will we ever learn........ Absolutely gutted. |

I think our game planned worked just a bad call over try and World class tackle and a few bad bouncers off the ball against probably the best England team in last 10 years |

England deserved the win. They took their chances well.
Can't stand Mike Brown though. Getting up in people's faces after they had beaten him and his cover puts in a try and match saving tackle! The guy is talented but an absolute dick!
No problem with people flicking over him though Lol! |

They praise Brown, but if we kick to him and there is nobody chasing he's got acres of space to use.
He's a dirty player and it was overshadowed by bias media coverage as usual for an England game.
Farrel was again on form and controlled the game with Ford.
England have done their homework and stuck to their game plan and it worked a treat.
We missed Webb, halfpenny, and Biggars experience.
We have to keep faith that the next game although against an Ireland team on form, but looks flat and had no flare in the back line. So hopefully we can play to our strengths and run with the ball.
I was happy to see North back in the team and hope he gets a start in on the next. |

We wernt robbed if the try was awarded we still would have lost 12-10 because from the dissalowed try we had 3 points from resaulting penalty as an advantage was being played at the time.
Our problem was we kicked the ball away far to much and straight down mike browns throat and if you do that all day you will get no where.
Our kicking game was poor and our decision making at vital times let us down.
On a good note we didint give them a kickable penalty all game.
On a bad note we had them but had no body to kick them.

To be honest most of them don't ever mention rugby until this fixture comes around then they all seem to be experts.
My full knowledge of rugby is you get the ball down over the line and boot the strange shaped thing through the top of the posts to score points, so there abuse aimed at me is wasted really |

It was a good hard game, We would have won or lost by a point if the game was played honestly and fairly (FIX!!!) Just a shame it was ruined and we will never know if patchel would have kicked it or not. Bet they give us all the decisions against Ireland out of guilt and embarrassment |

Personally I'm fed up of excuses--great teams in any sport step up a gear and get job done!!-just not good enough when it matters!!-but for once it was a good game to watch which is rare at the moment!!-fingers crossed they pick it up |

I'm led to believe that a player has to have control of the ball as he 'grounds' it..I'm not completely sure that sticking a pinkie out and touching the ball counts...maybe that was why it was disallowed? |

TRY!!! End of we all seen it And so did the officials. The tmo and referee didn't even give a reason for not awarding the try. All I remember hearing was "No try" they didn't want us winning simple |

There doesn't have to be control on a lose ball . Downward pressure is enough. This can be from your hand, forearm, even chest! So a pinky counts end of. The TMO have said it was a try now and accepted the error on their part. It was all over the news and radio. Hey ho too late now. None of us will ever know how it would of affected the game so it's tough shit. Completely agree. We missed our guys under the high ball. The kicking game didn't work in our favour one bit so I don't know why they played it that way. Dissapointing . Ireland next! We will see xxmiss |

If This had happened at the other end of the feild (England End) would Downward pressure from an English pinky got this much comments if it could have won them the game, it would have been 'No Try'.

Yep. In marked contrast to England fans, who never moaned at all after the Mark Cueto disallowed try in the 2007 WC or after their thrashing in Cardiff in 2013.

It's not complicated (I assume you know the Cueto incident etc).
I'm basically saying us Welsh are a right bunch of moaning b*stards....but the English
are actually just as bloody bad, much as they like to claim the non-moaning high-ground.
Today's game at Murrayfield being a good example. Epic levels of ref-bashing online in the aftermath.
What is it they used to say about the Welsh - "you never beat them, you just score more points than them"
Equally applicable to the barbour jacket brigade |

There’s a strain of anti-Englishness in Wales that I find increasingly tiresome. I love it when English people come here, contribute and make a life (I’m from one of the areas where people want to move to).
I lived in England for years and took a low level “bashing” all the time though. Nothing bad, but enough to make me more “Welsh” at that time. It’s pretty ingrained there too, but in different ways. I’ve also encountered terrible attitudes to Wales from people who’ve moved here - open, sneering hostility.
I don’t care where people are from anymore. I don’t care about flags of any description - I feel more kinship with a nice person from Hemel Hempstead than a d*ckhead from Abersystwth.
Sorry, I’m waffling like crazy here, but it’s something that I think about a lot these days.

In my last job I'd get a bit of abuse most days which massively ramped up to getting slaughtered when Wales and England come against eachother in any sporting event, I would say 99% of it was good natured banter of which I gave plenty back and would say I enjoyed.
I do love the ones who hate the English but follow a English football team. |

I'm basically saying us Welsh are a right bunch of moaning b*stards....but the English
are actually just as bloody bad, much as they like to claim the non-moaning high-ground.
Today's game at Murrayfield being a good example. Epic levels of ref-bashing online in the aftermath.
What is it they used to say about the Welsh - "you never beat them, you just score more points than them"
Equally applicable to the barbour jacket brigade
Sorry but we don't follow rugby, I was merely stating what my Welsh friends were putting on Facebook, none of our English friends seem to follow rugby so no moaning from them as most wouldn't have known the game was on.
I've lived in Wales long enough to know that English bashing is taught from the cradle at home and then at school...I'm a proud unbiased Englishman,,Scotland played magnificently and thoroughly deserved the victory.
A very refreshing attitude from an Englishman
Unlike the majority who seem to be trying to blame Nigel
I would personally say that the majority of English wouldn't have a clue who Nigel is so wouldn't be blaming him. Just my humble opinion.
I would say the majority of English rugby fans have a pretty good idea who Nigel is
Now you've put the word 'rugby' into the sentence your possibly right... Being a none rugby person i put Nigel into google search and it comes up with Farage so i'm guessing you don't mean him. "
Who knows....some English will blame anyone bar themselves so Farage is a possibility |

The look on Farrels face aimed at Nigel everytime England gave away a penalty against scotland......pricless. Eddie Jones's interview after the match was as fake as it gets too. The problem with the English is they are arrogant and think they're invincible. They arent humble in defeat which is their Downfall. Same goes for the football tea. |

"I'm guessing looking at my Facebook it was the bloody ref yet again
Yep. In marked contrast to England fans, who never moaned at all after the Mark Cueto disallowed try in the 2007 WC or after their thrashing in Cardiff in 2013.
At all, ever....no sireee.
We're all as bad as each other

Disagree.
I used to think that of England years ago, but most English players and fans are fine these days. Mike Brown is a tit (sorry MissP69) and Hartley and Farrell are hard going mind!
I doubt tit:nice player ratio is any worse with England than any other team. I know the Wales players have got on great with England players on Lions tours.
Most England fans are fine too. I’ve experience the public school knobs a Twickers a few times over the years, but most are ok.

"What is the excuse this week?
.................
Ireland played much better?
Or is that too logical??"
No excuse Ireland smashed us end of story! Score line didnt reflect on the game we deserved less points than we actually scored in all fairness and were quite fortunate Ireland didn't put more on the board. We played football and constantly moaned at the ref, Ireland turned up to play rugby and got in our faces. Men vs boys |
