After another successful social I have arranged another
FRIDAY 2ND JUNE
8-11pm
AND IS HELD IN A PRIVATE FUNCTION ROOM IN NEWPORT.
ENTRY IS £1.50 TO COVER THE COST OF THE ROOM
THERE IS ALSO A RAFFLE
To be able to attend as long as you are NOT MARRIED OR LIVING TOGETHER YOU ARE WELCOME.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE VERIFIED TO ATTEND HOWEVER IF YOU ADD YOUR NAME AND JUST DONT TURN UP AFTER YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THEN YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM FUTURE EVENTS
We also try to combine this with Chams but entry is NOT GUARANTEED
The prices of entry for that night are as follows
If you couple up its £25.00
Females £10.00
Guys £45.00
You also need photo identification for chams

THIS EVENT IS NOW CANCELLED AND I WILL NO LONGER BE DOING ANYMORE.
ANYONE WISHING TO TAKE OVER THEN PLEASE DO.

this actually annoys me; I have a 3 year old and quite often make plans and rely on babysitters. Doesn't mean I have a husband or boyfriend waiting at home. All it means is that my family aren't always at my beck and call. They have their own lives, no matter how far in advance I ask them. |

Did I specifically mention you? I did not, so why take it personally?
I am very well aware that family comes first...
My point was about people saying they will be there and not letting organisers know that people aren't able to attend. Just the decent thing to do I would have thought?.
Organising the social events can be a very thankless task... more so when people don't attend the events the organisers have spent so much time on...

I have taken the decision to give up the singles social as at this present moment in time my family need me more than fab does.
I've organised these nights for nearly 2 years and yes it is a thankless task of organising socials but I never done it for thanks i did it as I really enjoyed doing them.
And as for people not turning up it's the ones that haven't even the decency to let you know.
However as the weeks have past I'm sick to death of snide remarks and pointless additions to threads.
There comes a time when you have to say enough is enough.
I wish anyone every success in running a social as it's hard bloody work.
After xtasia I'm taking a break as someone above as mentioned I'm working,trying to organise a wedding plus being there for my family.
Fab use to be such a fun place but it's not no more.
I've met some brilliant people but it's now time I took a back step.
I'm sure I will see you all around soon.
