Does the cheap price of economy food put you off buying it?. I wonder how some of these places manage to produce a load of burgers for a £1.

Probably the same way the fast food outlets do it.

In my basket today were economy porridge oats, pasta, tinned toms and flour.

I tend to hit the reduced section for meat to get the good stuff at the budget prices and fill my freezer when they have it.

I'll buy economy staples such as pasta, tinned toms etc, but I will not buy economy meat, god knows what crap they use to bulk it out.

When I was on a YTS scheme I was greatful to these shops, my dad pissed off leaving to support me and my mum who was on benefits. It is surprising how much you could buy with £25.
