www.swingingheaven.co.uk used to be the top swingers site in the UK but since they introduced charges free sites such as Fab Swingers began to take over.

The story is that the founder of Swinging Heaven sold out to a ring tone company who suddenly decided to change from being a free site to charging some quite expensive subscriptions. Traffic to the website has been in quite steep decline since then according to the Alexa Traffic Survey. It's fallen by roughly half this year.

Essentially what they mean by a free website is one where it is free to register but costs money to see photos or to message other members.

The new owners say on their homepage that "Symbios Group have... a large user base for it's* products, coupled with an aggressive web real estate programme to sustain revenue through new applications".

But what if you don't want to be part of an aggressive web programme? What if you don't want to help Symbios Group sustain revenue? What if you just want to have fun? What if prefer free swingers sites?
